This is a Sports Bar

For as long as I can remember I have been a huge sports fan and growing up just outside of Philadelphia I naturally follow Philly sports. I've recently moved to the Lehigh Valley and needed a place to catch all of the Philly action and Starters Riverport was recommended to me by a co-worker. When I first walked in I didn't know what to expect, but as I stepped into the bar area my jaw dropped and I knew that this was my place. The huge TVs and crystal clear flat screens were just a start for me. I was greeted at the bar by a very nice young man who shook my hand and asked if I had been in before (I think he knew the answer already since my jaw was on the floor). The bartender seemed to be knowledgeable about the different beers they carried so I let him choose for me and he nailed it with a seasonal micro-brew. I was then handed a menu that had more offerings than most chain locations, but I already knew what I wanted. My co-worker told me to try the wings (sweet and sweaty) and a steak or ribs, I went for the ribs and they were great. Since that first visit I've become a regular at the bar and have made my way through the menu and I'm working on the beer list. I could go on and on, but words don't do this place true justice, do yourself a favor and go see for yourself.
